Using Cramsmith
You may use Cramsmith to create study material from content you have the right to use. Don't upload material you don't have permission to copy, or anything illegal or harmful.
Acceptable use
Cramsmith is for creating study materials only. You may not use it to upload, request or generate:
- sexual, pornographic or other NSFW content of any kind, including any content that sexualizes minors;
- content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hatred against people;
- content that promotes self-harm or illegal activity, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Topics such as sex education, human biology or literature with mature themes may be studied, but generated material stays factual and non-explicit. We may refuse requests, remove share links and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without a refund for the affected purchase.
AI-generated content
Study guides, quizzes and flashcards are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Check important information against your course material. Don't use Cramsmith to cheat on graded work where that breaks your school's rules.
Accounts
You need to be 13 or older to create an account. You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account.
Plans and payments
Paid plans are sold by Creem, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and receipts. Prices are shown on the pricing page.
- Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Exam pack is a one-time purchase. Its credits expire 30 days after purchase.
- Unused generations don't roll over to the next period.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase if you haven't used any generations from it. Email us from the address on your account. Once you've used a paid generation, that purchase can't be refunded, except where the law requires. A refunded plan or pack ends when the refund is issued.
Limits and availability
Free use is limited and the limits may change. We may pause generation when demand or costs are high, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Liability
Cramsmith is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
